President Museveni has pledged to address Parish Development Model (PDM) theft and mismanagement in communities. In Mukono District, concerns were raised over diverted funds intended for local development.

The President also addressed traffic congestion and infrastructure plans during the visit. PDM is a government programme aimed at lifting households out of subsistence into the money economy.
